My plastic funnel was slightly melted, so I decided to get a stainless steel unit for canning. This funnel is great for the most part. It is wide at the top, so you have few spills, and the funnel itself is wide enough to push through larger bits of food (like in soups or canning fruits and veggies).
The funnel wobbles a bit in a regular canning jar, but fits very well in a wide mouth jar. I use wide mouths more often, so this won’t effect my canning rhythm, but those who only use regular jars might find it frustrating. I also wish it had a slightly larger handle, but since I tend to pick it up using the edges, this isn’t too much of a bother.

This is a very nice looking pot, well constructed, tough teflon surface, easy to clean. I use it on my induction cooktop. However I have 2 complaints. It is heavy so you must use 2 hands to carry a pot of spaghetti to the sink to drain, for example. Also, the lid has an odd construction and doesn’t have a inner lip or edge so when you lift off the lid to set it down, water drips all over the place. I would still buy it again but beware if you aren’t too strong.

I grilled sandwiches, cooked bacon and sausage, toasted my bread, scrambled eggs, grilled veggies and chicken breasts on it. I absolutely love it. It is easy to clean and I love that the handles stay cool during use. I’ve given one to my daughter-in-law for her birthday. Recently, our large family met at our lake house for the weekend. My two sisters and I cooked for 25 people. We used our Panini Pans and grilled sandwiches for a crowd – they loved it. The weight on top makes the food cook more evenly and quickly. This is a great pan for anyone who even remotely enjoys cooking!

I bought a set of these pans from Tar get (on sale!) over a year ago, maybe even two years ago, and they’re our favorite pans and probably the best pan I’ve ever used. This kettle does the trick. The handle does NOT get hot for me, it’s totally fine to lift and remove the cap with bare hands, and the kettle works perfectly. It’s very sleek looking and lightweight, easy to fill and clean because of good sized openings. It does have an extremely loud whistle – I wouldn’t call it “polite” as its described, but that’s a safety feature that will prevent damage to the kettle. I withheld one star only because this one replaced a kettle I can no longer find that was truly magnificent, wider and sturdier, but the Cuisinox is every bit as attractive and usable, and very reasonably priced.

This cookware is beautiful, cooks insanely evenly, and is very easy to clean up. Just like the instructions say, if you want to get it gleaming, use Barkeeper’s Friend. The handles do stay quite cool; but, use a pot holder when lifting the lids!! It is the last cookware you will ever need, and it looks like it will last for many, many generations. The 14-piece set includes some really large pieces that are sure to satisfy almost any sort of exotic culinary needs you might have in the future. You might also take a look at getting the steamer insert, double boiler, 4 qt saucepan with loop (3 qt lid fits this too, so does steamer), possibly some smaller pieces like a little fry pan/saucier pan/butter melter, and of course the giant soup pot/steamer/pasta cooker. I might also add their 6 piece kitchen utility set is extremely nice, and compliments this cookware well.
It came packed extremely well.
